About Tim Ridge

Tim Ridge was born and lives in Dallas Texas. He has gone on numerous road trips. One of the road trips taken in 1995 was from Independence Missouri to San Francisco. On this trip he followed the historic road known as the California-Oregon Trail. He also retraced the Butterfield-Overland Route from North Texas to Los Angles in 2002.

In the many living history interviews Tim has conducted he has learned about everyday life during the entire span of 20th century. He also learned from first hand accounts of such events as WWI, The Roaring Twenties, The Great Depression, WWII and the Rock 'n' Roll Era.

Tim is available for speaking engagements where he talks about the importance of Legacy Preservation and the prevention of the Lost Generation Syndrome. In his speeches he talks about stories he was told during his many interviews.

Tim Ridge is also available for radio and newspaper interviews.

Tim's hobbies includes, hiking national parks, camping, visiting protected beaches and reading.

He is currently working on the second book in a satirical series called the Chronicles of The Prairie Dog Nation.
